The school was founded in 2006 through the Art Director's Club Germany and has taught students from industries such as advertising, marketing, journalism, finance and education. The Berlin School of Creative Leadership was founded in 2006 by a group executives from creative industries, and with the help of the Art Directors Club Germany. In partnership with the School of Management and Innovation, a branch of Germany's private business school Steinbeis University, the Berlin School of Creative Leadership offers a Part-Time Global Executive MBA and Executive Education programs designed for professionals in creative industries. Programs are taught in the English language. It has had students from 50 countries. Since its inception, Michael Conrad, the former Creative Director of Leo Burnett Worldwide, Inc, has been President of the school.
